1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for this website (kasieconnects.com) is Akasia Della Rumball, self-employed (autónoma), trading as Kasie Connects.

We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Spain’s Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

2. What data we collect

When you use one of the enquiry forms on this website, we collect the information you choose to give us, which may include: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, preferred contact method, nationality or passport country, current country, where you plan to live in Spain, planned move date, number of people moving, work situation, the service you are interested in, and anything you write in your message.

Please do not send passport scans, identity documents or other sensitive documents through the website forms. If we work together, we will agree a secure way to collect any documents needed.

If you contact us by email, WhatsApp or Instagram, we will process the data contained in that communication.

3. Why we use your data and our legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry and recommend a suitable service. Legal basis: your consent, given when you tick the box on the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To provide the services you hire us for, including preparing quotes and agreements and coordinating administrative procedures. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To meet our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting record-keeping. Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send you marketing without your separate consent.

4. How long we keep your data

Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. If you become a client, we keep your data for as long as the service relationship lasts and afterwards for the periods required by law (for example, tax and accounting rules), and to deal with any possible claims.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We only share it where necessary with:

  • Service providers who help us run this website and our business, such as our web hosting provider and our email provider (Google), acting as data processors under contract.
  • Public authorities (for example, the Spanish immigration and registration offices), only when needed to carry out a procedure you have hired us for, or where required by law.
  • Third-party professionals (for example, translators, lawyers or property professionals), only with your agreement and when needed for your case.

Some providers, such as Google, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it).

To exercise any of these rights, email kasiedellarumball@gmail.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will reply within one month.

If you believe your data has not been handled properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos), www.aepd.es.

7. Cookies and third-party content

This website uses technical cookies that are necessary for it to work and to keep it secure. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with Google. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

8. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated.
